The Good Oil on Fish Oil

It’s easy to be more confused than a chameleon in a box of skittles, especially when it comes to supplements! The truth is, we often forget about wholesome real foods and that we can receive all the nutrients we need from consuming a healthy balanced diet. But as we know, sex sells… and supplements, albeit some very fishy ones, make excellent ‘bottom line’ boosters!

The key component in fish oil, is a combination EPA & DHA, or otherwise known as omega 3. If you can consume 2-3 fish meals/week, you have just reached your requirements! But as we know, life can get in the way sometimes, so this is where a small boost of fish oil can come in handy – especially if you are one of those weird people that doesn’t like fish! If you don’t get your 2-3 fish meals, aim for 3g fish oil/day and you will have yourself a feed of fish, without the fishy breath!
